Creative Entrepreneurs Founder Carolyn Dailey was asked to give the keynote at Future Females London’s monthly highlight event last night, on “Thinking Creatively and Thinking Bigger.” The event took place at Rise London, the FinTech community hub in Shoreditch supported by Barclays.
FutureFemales is a global movement with the mission to connect, inspire and support current and aspiring female entrepreneurs. Founded only last year, FutureFemales has 10 global chapters in cities across the world. Each chapter hosts a monthly meet up of female founders, both aspiring and established, to help build a network and to provide support and inspiration for entrepreneurial women across the world.
Thinking creatively and thinking bigger is at the heart of what we do at Creative Entrepreneurs, and Carolyn used the theme to speak about this, but also her personal career journey, which was forged at the intersection of creativity and business.
Carolyn was also happy to share her top tips for entrepreneurs who wish to think in a more creative and ambitious way:
- Dream & visualise without boundaries
- Always be learning & brainstorm with friends
- Don’t be afraid to ask favours
- Give back - reciprocate
- Meet the widest circle of people you can
- Make time to seek inspiration
- Keep in mind your personal ‘why’
The evening was a fantastic opportunity to connect with lots of exciting female entrepreneurs from across a variety of sectors and to learn more about this much-needed entrepreneur network. We look forward to staying in touch with FutureFemales and continuing to collaborate in the future!
