One of our favourite digital communities, BIMA, has launched a brand new platform for digital creators.
BIMA Beat will showcase inspirational digital first work from creators at the very start of their career, big brand projects and grassroots initiatives. The project has been set up by the BIMA Creative Council, Sony Music UK’s 4th Floor Creative and Spotify, as a means to support and galvanise the UK's digital creativity community.
Submissions can be made for free, and they will be reviewed by BIMA's esteemed Creative Council. Every quarter, a selection of finalists will be featured on the BIMA Beat Instagram, before a winner will be selected, featured in the BIMA newsletter, and showcased at their quarterly event - attended by the BIMA audience of agencies, tech companies and industry insiders, as well as the Sony Music Creative team and Spotify team.
The theme for the first quarter is "Reimagine". Candidates may submit ANY piece of digital creative work, and it doesn’t have to be completed – it can still be in beta, provided that it has been launched to the public and is out there in the wider world. It could be a campaign, a piece of content, an app, a game, an experience, or all of those rolled into one and everything in between!
The Creative Council are looking for brave, innovative work from creatives who think outside the box. The deadline for the first quarter of submissions is the 15th November.
If the 15th feels too close for you, don't worry - entries for the next quarter will open on the 28th November.
There’s no limit to the number of submissions each individual can make, so if you have a brilliant digital creative project that the world needs to know about, enter HERE!
