This one day workshop provides an introduction to project management. You will leave this course with a valuable project management tool-kit, designed to make all your future projects a success.
During this workshop we will take you through our 10 key steps of project management, helping you to fully understand your project's life-cycle. You will discover the common pitfalls to avoid and valuable tips to enhance your project management skills. You are encouraged to bring examples of your current and/or previous projects, as this will help you to apply the tools and techniques.
You will learn how to:
1. Plan and implement a successful project.
2. Launch a project using our 10 key steps.
3. Manage stakeholder expectations.
4. Build a productive and efficient project team.
5. Effectively assess and manage the risks of your projects.
6. Set a realistic project budget and consider the constraints.

Who should attend:
If you are new to Project Management or find yourself managing projects with very little structure, this course will give you the skill and confidence needed. It is the ideal course for project managers, middle management, as well as those working as part of a project team. The nature of this course lends it self to freelance professionals and entrepreneurs, as well as those working in the creative industry, social enterprises, small businesses and non-profit sectors. The tips, tools and project management techniques discussed during this course is flexible to many working environments. It will integrate well with most of the online platforms used to monitor and track project progress.
About the Workshop Leader:
This course is delivered by Kemi Bamidele, Director of Creative Training Hub. Kemi has over 15 years experience in project management working mainly in the creative industry and non-profit sector. Her approach to project management is seamless, making concepts easy to grasp and apply to both your current and future projects. Kemi developed and has been delivering this course for the past five years, training over 100 creative professionals and entrepreneurs.
